As
a museum, the First Church holds
valuable pieces of art in the
form
of inlaid and painted stained-glass
windows, the custom-made Moller
organ, and historical documents
dating back to 1702. The First
Church
is also notable because over half
its interior is made of rubbed
and polished oak and the original
chandeliers
light the interior of the sanctuary.

that is good about the community
of Groton. Residents of Groton built
the beautiful 101-year-old fieldstone
structure in 1902 and it is one
of the city's most treasured landmarks.
